Naked Girls Reading

"Naked Girls Reading" is a provocative franchise, which I had the privilege of performing in on four separate occasions. The show, first launched in Chicago, invites women from diverse backgrounds to read thought-provoking literature onstage while naked, confronting societal norms about the female body and its portrayal.

The show’s core mission is to challenge and reshape societal perceptions and values regarding women. By presenting readings in such a raw and unadorned manner, "Naked Girls Reading" not only celebrates the strength and diversity of female empowerment but also provokes a critical dialogue about the often complex relationship between the female form and societal expectations.

Through this platform, we strived to enlighten and engage audiences, inviting them to question their relationship to female nudity and appreciate the depth and intellect of women beyond superficial appearances.
